Rare Flavours: brand and website for a private chef
Identity and website for a private chef serving tasting menus at home.

Rare Flavours is a private chef cooking tasting menus in clients' homes across Leicester and the East Midlands. The brief was to sell the experience, help the business take bookings directly, and be easy to find on Google and in AI search.
The brand
The identity pairs a hexagon monogram with a high contrast serif wordmark, applied across the site, menus and social content. The tagline "The best table in the house." leads the website.
The website
We designed and built a dark, photo-led website that walks guests through the experience, the menus and how booking works, with occasion pages for private dining, celebrations and corporate groups. Behind the scenes it carries the structured data and plain answers that help Google and AI tools understand and recommend the business.
Selling the evening
RareFlavours is private chef Josh, bringing a restaurant-standard tasting menu into clients' homes in Rugby and across the East Midlands. The site is built around three promises: no venue, no set menu, no washing up. Josh cooks, serves and clears down, and the guests stay at the table.
Menus and reservations
A sample menu walks through a real recent dinner, from gazpacho and a Lake District chicken terrine to Herdwick lamb or rare breed pork and a Noir chocolate cremeux. A conversational reservation flow asks five quick questions so Josh can come back with the right menu and a quote.
Film
Short films of plates being finished bring the menu to life on the homepage and social media.
